FAQ
Who can fly?
Passengers must be at least 12 years old. Weight limits vary by aircraft: Light Aircraft 30–100 kg, Ultralight 30–90 kg, Gyrocopter on request. Bring a passport or Thai ID and wear closed-toe shoes.
Who can’t fly?
Flying is not permitted for pregnant women, anyone with heart conditions or significant mental health issues, or anyone who has been drinking. Safety is non-negotiable.
Do I need any experience?
None at all for scenic flights — your licensed pilot handles everything. For flight-training courses, no prior experience is needed; the introductory course is designed for first-timers.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is on request and varies by aircraft, duration, party size, and time of year. WhatsApp or email us with your preferred date, group size, and which flight you’re interested in — we’ll come back with a quote within 24 hours.
When can I fly?
Light aircraft fly 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. Ultralight slots are morning (7–9 am) and evening (4–6 pm) for the best light. Gyrocopter slots are year-round, weather permitting. Best months are November to February — cool, dry, clear skies.
What if the weather’s bad?
Flight slots are confirmed 24 hours in advance. If the weather doesn’t allow safe flying, we reschedule at no charge or refund the deposit in full.
Deposit & refund policy?
A deposit confirms your slot. Full refund for weather cancellations or rescheduling more than 48 hours before the flight. Inside 48 hours, the deposit is held against a future booking.
Where do we meet?
All flights operate from a TAT-approved aviation site near Chiang Mai. Exact meeting point and directions are confirmed with your booking. Transport from your Chiang Mai hotel can be arranged on request.
